About Lloyd

Lloyd Broughton is an American who lived and worked in Amman, Jordan. Over that time he took in street cats that were sick or injured, nursed them back to health and kept them.

When it was time for him to leave Jordan, he had 30 cats and nowhere for them to go. He came back to Amman to finish the job: get every one of them to a safe home in the United States.

He works only with foster-based rescues. These cats do not do well in shelters or cages, and a rescue will take a cat back if an adoption does not work out. About 20 of the cats have a rescue lined up. The other 10 are the shy ones, and they need experienced people.
